Graphic Recording Video Gallery
Here are a few video projects that I contributed to. This is still an area I am exploring, and I am looking forward to learning more!
Innovation Exchange, Calgary 2016
This video from 2016's Innovation Exchange was made by a videographer who filmed me drawing live on paper during the event, and then edited together the video after the event. This isn't a method that would work well for a remote/online event. But I think it worked out well here!
Presented by MindFuel, the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, and Edmonton Public Schools, the inaugural Innovation Exchange brought together thought leaders and influential members from government, education, industry, startup and non-profit, as well as youth, to discuss the intersection of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), innovation, education and creativity. |

Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre: A School's Role In Keeping Our Kids Safe, 2017
The Sheldon Kennedy Child Advocacy Centre, together with partner MEG Energy, created this video in 2017 as a tool for teachers. I was honoured to be able to contribute to this important project! The video is long (about half an hour) and my work shows up in a few places throughout.

City of Edmonton: Northlands Coliseum Transformation project, 2017
Edmonton's Northlands Coliseum was replaced by Rogers Place, and in 2017, the City of Edmonton was exploring options for the old facility.I was asked to draw some pictures for a video that would be used to communicate the story of how the City was proceeding with their plans. I hadn't done anything like this before, so this was definitely an experiment for me. I drew the images on paper, not on a whiteboard.
Big thanks to Edmonton's Lindisfarne Productions who shot, edited and produced the video! |

Calgary Tool Library, 2016
Here's my first experience of drawing live in front of the camera, for the wonderful Calgary Tool Library. This was shot all in one take - creating a nice DIY feel which goes pretty well with the subject matter. If you haven't visited the Calgary Tool Library, you should check it out!
