| I know some people who claim to dislike November, because they know they're in for a winterful of cold weather. But I don't mind November - it's never that bad, and snow's all right when things are leading up to Christmas. Then in January and February you can hardly expect anything but winter. And if you're in Calgary, well, that goes for March, too. But April - give me November any day and keep April. By now, I've had it. April 15th and no sign of letting up yet. Ugh. 
Anyway, all this snow was on my mind, and I just happened to dig up these old photographs: |
I used to spend a lot of time in Mainz, Germany, which is where I took these two photographs in two different seasons (and probably different years). It's just reassuring to see that there are places out there that do have seasons, not just endless winter. But let's be optimistic. Things are bound to change in Calgary, too, right? And when they do, I'll take some pictures.
